The proposed ₹89.13 crore Khuda Lahora Flyover/Elevated Corridor is expected to become one of the most important infrastructure developments strengthening connectivity between Chandigarh and New Chandigarh.
The Chandigarh Administration is moving forward with a major infrastructure proposal for the construction of a four-lane, high-capacity elevated corridor at Khuda Lahora on Madhya Marg. The project has been designed to address increasing traffic congestion on one of the busiest road stretches connecting Chandigarh with New Chandigarh, Mullanpur, Kurali, Baddi and other parts of Punjab and Himachal Pradesh.

Why This Flyover Is Important

Current Approval Status
The project has already undergone multiple levels of technical and financial scrutiny. The Chandigarh Heritage Conservation Committee has also approved the proposal. The next important step is the financial and administrative approval by the appraisal committee, which is headed by the Chief Secretary.
